Imagine, after a blaze occurred at a night scene, because of the extreme light, the way of viewing things changed. Things could only be recognized with the persistence of vision, the airy illusion replaced the actual scene. With the slightly consciousness lost, the vagueness of shacking persistence of vision seems like a dooming plot is happening. The unfamiliar track of light in the image also drops a disturbing hint that this very image is going to disappear. The work is not only a paint or a film, it implies the presence of the viewer. The vanishing illusion shows a message of light pollution in the city, and also a metaphor of an indistinct mental condition.
